Frameless (Euro)
Frameless cabinets create more usable space inside the cabinet boxes and drawers and have a sleek, modern look thanks to their 3 millimeter full overlay. Doors and drawers are mounted directly to the 3/4” box parts and must have knobs or pulls.
Face Frame
Face frame cabinets have 1/2” box parts and a solid hardwood face frame mounted to the front of the cabinet box. The 1/2” overlay creates space between the doors and drawer fronts where the frame can be seen. The doors and drawers are mounted to the frame and can be routed for finger pulls to eliminate the need for cabinet hardware.

Markay Cabinets uses Sherwin Williams SB Stain system, topped with a Sher-Wood Precatalyzed Topcoat.
The SHER-WOOD® SB Stain System provides clean colors, high pigmentation, excellent clarity and outstanding uniformity. Sealed and topped with a SHER-WOOD® 20% sheen Precatalyzed Topcoat lacquer, this finishing system is ideal for kitchen cabinets, vanities, furniture and other interior wood products. It meets the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association’s requirements for finishes and offers superior durability and resistance to scratches, stains and wear and tear.
The following samples are on white maple. Actual stain colors will vary based on wood species, natural color, grain patterns, sanding and application procedure.

Markay Cabinets uses Sherwin Williams commercial paints, topped with a Sher-Wood Hi-Bild clear conversion lacquer.
Sher-Wood® Hi-Bild™ Pre-Cat Lacquer is a high performance, clear, 30% sheen conversion lacquer designed for the Kitchen and Bath Cabinetry and General Wood Finishing markets. It contains UV absorber to significantly reduce the discoloration of natural wood from exposure to sunlight, has good resistance to household chemicals, and meets the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturer’s Association specifications.
